Falling crude oil prices sent shares of Carrizo Oil & Gas Inc. (Nasdaq: CRZO) tumbling $1.86 to close at $16.55, Halcon Resources (NYSE: HK) down 45 cents to close at $4.43 and Whiting Petroleum Corp. (NYSE: WLL) falling 51 cents to close at $5.34.
