OSHA Recognizes Cintas in Stockton, CA with Highest Safety Designation

Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS) will announce today that its rental location in Stockton, California received Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star certification from the California State Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The announcement will take place during a special ceremony beginning at 10:00 a.m. PT at Cintas, located at 1877 Industrial Drive, Stockton, California, 95206.

VPP Star is OSHA’s highest recognition for the practice of and commitment to exemplary occupational safety and health. Voluntary Protection Program Star certification is earned by businesses who meet very rigorous safety requirements and can prove that the elimination of injuries is a key component of a company’s culture.

Approximately 142 employee-partners are employed at the uniform rental facility in Stockton. The location officially began the VPP process in 2013, and received mentorship from safety leaders at NuStar Energy.

Since 2011, a total of 66 Cintas facilities have been recognized under the VPP program. Cintas is currently ranked second in the entire nation for companies with VPP sites.
