Thursday Sector Laggards: Home Furnishings & Improvement, Department Stores

In trading on Thursday, home furnishings & improvement shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.9%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Pier 1 Imports (PIR), off about 29.1% and shares of Aarons (AAN) down about 3.7% on the day.
