Mick Mulvaney told an audience of 1,300 gathered in Washington they should get involved in the political process and stay involved if they want their voices to be heard. That sounds innocuous enough. But Mulvaney, the former South Carolina congressman who’s now director of the Office of Management and Budget and acting director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, used the provocative language of which he’s not afraid to employ.
