In trading on Friday, the SPDR S&P Biotech ETF (XBI) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.2% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Lexicon Pharmaceuticals (LXRX), up about 7.9% and shares of PTC Therapeutics (PTCT), up about 7.7% on the day.
