Gene sequencing study finds new cancers linked with Lynch syndrome

CHICAGO, June 2 (Reuters) - Lynch syndrome, a rare hereditary disease typically associated with an increased risk of colorectal and endometrial cancers, appears to be linked with several additional types of cancer than previously thought, U.S. researchers said on Saturday.
