Profit Calculation Breakout Added To ManageByStats Dashlets

CEO of ManageByStats, Philip Jepsen, reports that they have added a Profit breakout to the dashlets in MBS. ManageByStats is a suite of Amazon seller software, and the dashlets are discrete information boxes that appear on the user’s MBS Dashboard. Dashlets can be custom configured to show information such as Sales stats, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), a variety of Graphs, Payouts and Restock Alerts. The Sales stats dashlets include real-time info on Profit, which now features a breakout option so users can see each value that went into the Profit figure.

“Calculating Profit is based on several factors,” says Mister Jepsen. ”This is covered in our knowledge base and help videos, but for ease of reference we’ve now added a ‘hint’ icon near the Profit value on the Sales dashlet, which, when clicked, shows each value that went into the final profit calculation.”

The calculator uses information like Amazon Fees, Promo Rebates, Cost (entered by the user), Inbound Shipping fees (also entered by the user) and any Other fees levied by Amazon. ManageByStats allows the user to enter product and shipping costs in order to see actual profit (not just revenue) for individual products, groups of products and entire brands.

“ManageByStats offers so many tools for the Amazon seller,” says Mister Jepsen. “Our core, what we were founded on, is stats. We give you a clear, transparent look into your sales and, importantly, your profit. Revenue is great, but knowing exactly how profitable you are gives you the best indication of your company’s health.”
