FixYa will bring Best Buy and Geek Squad customers together to provide one another with real world solutions to common technical problems. The relationship will add Geek Squad expertise and the power of 17,000 Geek Squad technicians to the extensive collection of one million solutions already posted on FixYa by its community.

Customers wishing to perform their own fixes can to do so by going to the Best Buy website and accessing http://geeksquad.fixya.com from the "Customer Service" tab. Once there, customers can find or seek advice using a product or manufacturers name or model number. Their needs can be as diverse as finding out how to enhance a newly purchased home theater system, or posting a question about energy efficient freezers before they even make their purchase. Its a collaborative environment where people help each other and help themselves.
