Seven Arts Pictures Starts Principal Photography on Horror Classic NIGHT OF THE DEMONS

Seven Arts Pictures plc (Seven Arts) (OTCBB:SAPXF) (PLUS:SAPP) announced the start of principal photography on Friday, October 3rd, 2008 of the remake of the classic creature horror film Night of The Demons, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Principal photography is expected to be completed before December 1st, 2008. The budget for the movie is under $15,000,000 and it is expected to be delivered before the end of the current 2009 fiscal year on June 30th 2009.

The film is a remake the classic cult horror movie first released in 1988 which spawned 3 sequels. Night of the Demons will be directed by Adam Gierasch who co-wrote the screenplay with his partner of many years, Jace Anderson. Adam and Jace recently earned critical acclaim with Autopsy, the first feature film directed by Gierasch. Adam and Jace also co-wrote the horror film Mother of Tears.

Night of the Demons is the story of six teens that visit an abandoned house on Halloween night. A séance goes terribly awry and they awaken a terrible force; a battle to survive ensues as they are stalked by a demon spirit. The film stars a fabulous cast including Shannon Elizabeth (American Pie,Scary Movie), Monica Keena (The Devils Advocate, Freddy vs. Jason, While You Were Sleeping), Diora Baird (Wedding Crashers, Texas Chainsaw Massacre-The Beginning, My Best Friends Girl,Shark-TV) and teen heartthrob Edward Furlong (Terminator II-Judgment Day, American History X, Pet Cemetery II).

The academy award winning team at Drac Studios will create the demons.
