Dental Select Announces No Waiting Periods for Group Dental Plans

Dental Select is waiving all waiting periods for new group dental plans quoted on or after November 2008. Members can now immediately use their benefits, including all Preventive, Basic, Major and Orthodontic services.

“Easy administration and better oral health of members are the advantages of this new initiative,” states Brent Williams, Dental Select’s President and CEO. “We hope that employers will take advantage of this opportunity to provide employees with excellent dental benefits while reducing their out-of-pocket expenses.” Voluntary groups which have not previously offered a dental program within the last 12 months will not be eligible for removal of waiting periods.
