“Since acquiring Orion Gaming in 2006 and SiP in 2007, we have accelerated our development of game content and technology platform offerings for international markets, furthering our position as a leading global provider of gaming products,” said Brian R. Gamache, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of WMS. “Today, our international product sales are a larger component of our annual unit shipments than at any time in our history. Our ability to offer new games simultaneously in markets spanning the globe coupled with the enhanced entertainment value and product functionality of our new Orion and SiP products are important factors contributing to our increased international success. With the exciting array of new products debuting at IGE 2009, we are confident we will continue to expand our international market share.”

Orion Gaming will showcase 23 titles at IGE 2009 on the new Twinstar II gaming machine driven by the powerful N-Able operating platform. The new Twinstar II is precision designed with sleek curves and stainless steel surfaces combining an elegant look with superb functionality. The Twinstar II features ergonomically positioned dual 19-inch screens, a LED-illuminated top box marquee that is 25 percent larger and a subtly illuminated lower door and coin tray. In addition, Twinstar II is driven by the powerful N-Able platform which offers industry leading stability, reliability and entertainment enhancing features. Gamache commented, “The Twinstar II gaming cabinet and N-Able platform advance Orion Gaming’s product capabilities to new levels of player entertainment and operator functionality through utilization of leading networked gaming technology. This is an important step forward in our ability to further increase our global footprint as we now offer significantly more variety of games and features for our international customers and their players. With a total of 37 products from Orion featured at IGE 2009, this will be the biggest showing of Orion games in their history.”

New products featured in the Orion Gaming Twinstar II cabinet on display at IGE 2009 include:

  • Game Pack – The Game Pack product is Orion Gaming’s first multi-game offering, holding five new Orion N-Able games in one machine for more variety and greater player satisfaction. Game Pack offers players an option to select from a variety of games and allows them to change games by simply pressing the “Change Game” button at the bottom of the screen. Four game sets will be on display, each offering a different variety of successful games from Orion’s Deluxe, LinePlus™ and AnyWay™ series. The Game Pack offerings on display at IGE 2009 will also include a SiP linked progressive that enables linked Mystery Progressive functionality on a multi-game, as well as the TwinHit™ Dual-level Standalone Progressive (DSAP) functionality made possible by the new N-Able technology. DSAP features two progressive meters at the top of the multi-game.
  • Group Wins – Orion will premiere its first communal game, Treasures of the World™. When triggered, every eligible player on the bank of gaming machines is brought into an exciting bonus adventure, led by the game’s interactive female host named Sapphire, with one lucky player controlling all the action. Bonus rounds incorporate the popular interactive picking bonus feature, through which selected items build upon themselves with each spin, creating more opportunities to win.
  • LinePlus / AnyWay series – Four new titles for the LinePlus series will debut on the Twinstar II cabinet. Line Plus games feature 50-line play that is designed to provide volatility in popular low-denomination play. Also debuting will be two new titles for the AnyWay series of games which have players purchase reels instead of lines. When all the reels are played, the players have over 200 ways to win through scatter pay combinations. The new titles for the LinePlus and AnyWay series of games are also available with the TwinHit Dual-level Standalone Progressive.
  • PokerPack offering – Players can select their favorite poker theme with Orion’s Multipoker line of games, PokerPack, which offers the classic poker themes die-hard players enjoy. PokerPack features six great games including Jacks or Better, Magic Poker, Extra Poker, Hot 2 Poker, Extra Extra Poker and Club Poker.
  • Glamour Cash™ - The first networked gaming product from Orion Gaming debuted at last year’s international trade show and new games this year take the entertainment experience to a whole new level. Eight titles will be on display at IGE 2009. Glamour Cash is a 5-level local-area mystery progressive offering that enriches the player experience with prizes that can transport them to a whole new world of glamour. The Glamour Cash mystery progressive is randomly triggered and the rewarded level prize (diamond, ruby, emerald, sapphire or amethyst) is awarded based on the sum of numbers that appear on each reel.
