Chevron Announces 4.6 Percent Increase in Quarterly Dividend

The Board of Directors of Chevron Corporation (NYSE: CVX) today declared a quarterly dividend of $0.68 cents per share, payable September 10, 2009 to holders of common stock as shown by the transfer records of the Corporation at the close of business August 19, 2009. The amount represents a 4.6 percent increase in the company's quarterly dividend and marks the 22nd consecutive year Chevron has increased its annual dividend payment.
