ManageByStats, creators of a premium suite of business tools for Amazon sellers, has rolled out a new feature for user permissions which allows access to the program to be specified by Brand. This is an important update for Sellers that manage multiple brands or Amazon shops and need to allow access to users, such as virtual assistants, but also need to restrict that access to specific shops or brands.
“Many of our larger sellers are using ManageByStats to manage several Amazon shops,” says ManageByStats CEO, Philip Jepsen. “When you’re overseeing that much activity, you need help. And the same helpers you have working with one shop may not be the same people you want to have access to another shop. With this new feature, when you add a user you have the option to assign them access to only the shops, and even the brands within a shop, that you desire.”
ManageByStats has always allowed the management of multiple shops with a single log-in, and so this new feature is key for instances where certain brands require specific or restricted access. With Brand access restriction the business owner can add users and then declare which shop, and within each shop which specific brand the user can see. For each brand, then, specific rights can be assigned for all functions, features and tools within ManageByStats, thus tailoring the access for each user according to what duties they need to perform.
“Our entire suite of tools has been growing, and it now attracts large sellers with multiple brands and, in many cases, with multiple Amazon shops as well,” says Mister Jepsen. “This is an important update, and I think it will be welcomed by our users who employ assistants that have specific functions.”
