Reed's Ginger Brew and Virgil's Natural Sodas Make Splash at Natural Products Expo West

Highlights Include Company's First Sales to the Middle East and Launch of the New Virgil's Orange Cream Soda and Reed's Natural Energy Elixir

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/11/09 -- Reed's, Inc. (NASDAQ: REED), maker of the top-selling sodas in natural food stores nationwide, recently exhibited at the Natural Products Expo West, the largest show of its kind on the West Coast. Management and sales staff were on hand to promote Reed's Ginger Brew and Virgil's products to over 53,000 industry members and retail consumers. Reed's signed two new distribution agreements with Middle Eastern distributors, one in Israel and the other in Jordan.

Nutrition Business Journal recently reported that early estimates indicate consumer sales of nutrition products grew 9 percent in 2008 to more than $100 billion.
