The company, based in Edmonton, recently made visits to Croatia and the Czech Republic in an effort to recruit skilled workers to fill the current labour shortage in western Canada. Many of Actyl Group’s candidates come from “visa-free” countries, which means candidates can obtain work permits at the Canadian border without being required to wait for embassy approval. This is a major benefit for Canadian employers, making the immigration and employment process much easier and efficient for all parties involved.
Actyl has recruited candidates for a broad range of positions, including warehouse workers, long-haul drivers, hotel front desk staff, heavy-duty mechanics, carpenters, dry-wallers, pipefitters, car mechanics and craft laborers, among others.
