Ugg Offstage Pass Connects Artists with Local Fans

Highlighting the relaxed California essence of the iconic brand, UGG® (a division of Deckers Brands, NYSE: DECK) has announced the UGG® Offstage Pass project which provides up-and-coming talent with a platform to engage intimately with their closest and newest fans. In a celebration of art and local community, the program’s inaugural private event took place at the Magic Garden Mastering in Los Angeles last month with The Mowgli’s and The Young Wild captivating the audience.

Intended to be a series of exclusive performances, UGG® Offstage Pass will grant guests with a backstage pass to experience a night of music from their favorite (or soon to be favorite) artists playing stripped-down acoustic performances while sharing stories and enjoying the cozy comforts of the UGG® Home collection.

“These events provide an intimate venue that allows up-and-coming performers a unique opportunity to engage with fans,” says Tim Aceves, Social Media Manager for UGG®. “The cozy scene is reminiscent of UGG’s familiar feel, but in a new and provocative way.”

Coming to life through a partnership with NY-based marketing agency The Syndicate, UGG® Offstage supports aspiring artists by offering UGG® products, such as footwear, accessories, apparel and home furnishings, to support the talent while they write their next album, record in the studio and go out on tour. UGG® Offstage artists include The Mowgli's, Blondfire, Cardiknox, Lydia Loveless, Little Hurricane, Handsome Ghost, Wild Child, Pinegrove, The Railers, Have Mercy, Sorority Noise, The Strumbellas and many more.
