Alaska Communications (NASDAQ: ALSK) recently became the first managed IT services provider in Alaska to earn Silver Cloud Platform Competency from Microsoft, further distinguishing itself as an expert in solutions for cloud infrastructure design, implementation and management.
The competency gives Alaska Communications, the state’s leading broadband and IT solutions provider, an elevated level of technical support for serving clients with Microsoft cloud products.
“The Silver Cloud Platform Competency demonstrates our ability to provide cloud solutions and strengthens the resources available to serve our customers,” Alaska Communications Vice President of Managed Services Chris Reaburn said. “Anyone can promise reliability and great customer service – this recognition shows we are delivering on those promises.”
To achieve the competency, Alaska Communications was required to demonstrate its expertise by passing comprehensive technical evaluations and earning positive customer references.
