Francesca's Holdings (Nasdaq: FRAN) disappointed with lower fourth quarter earnings and forecast current quarter results below expectations.
In the broad market, declining issues outpaced advancers by a margin of nearly 10 to 9 on the NYSE and by more than 5 to 3 on Nasdaq. The broader S&P 500 rose 4 points to 1870. Bitcoin rose $4.42 or 0.76%% to $586.26.
