Google Acquires BeatThatQuote.com for $61 Million

Search giant Google (GOOG) has bought U.K. finance comparison site Beatthatquote.com for £37.7m ($61 million). The acquisition of BeatThatQuote.com website is the clearest signal yet of Google’s growing interest in the financial price comparison sector in the UK.
