Stocks rose quietly Friday as consumer sentiment and home sales data were mixed, oil climbed near $109 a barrel and earnings reports continued to roll in. The Nasdaq and the S&P 500 each added 0.3% in weak trade. The Dow Jones industrial average edged up 0.2%, as its 30 stocks traded mixed in generally weak trade. China's Ctrip.com International (CTRP) led the Nasdaq 100 with a 3% gain. Salesforce.com's (CRM) 8% advance topped the S&P 500.
