First quarter earnings rose
for Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. (NYSE: CMG) to $3.88 per share compared with $2.64 per share a year earlier but revenue and same store sales
fell short of analyst expectations and the fast-casual restaurant chain
warned that a shortage of pork will continue to negatively impact sales. The stock price plummeted $51.29 to close at $641.23.
