China's CANbridge Starts Taiwan Trial of Novel Brain Cancer Drug

CANbridge Life Sciences, a Beijing in-licensing biopharma, announced the first dosing of Taiwan Phase I/II trial of its lead candidate, CAN-008, a treatment for newly-diagnosed glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). An immunotherapy, CAN-008 inhibits the CD95 ligand, a member of the tumor necrosis factor family, with the goal of restoring the immune system’s anti-tumor response and inhibiting tumor cell growth.
