The Dow Drops On The Eve Of Trump’s Inauguration

The Dow ended today further away from the 20,000 mark, extending its losing streak to a fifth straight session as the U.S. prepares for the inauguration of Donald Trump as the nation’s 45 th president. Tomorrow, Trump will take the oath of office. The WSJ reports that investors see little reason for stock indexes to climb higher until Trump takes office. Then, investors will fix their focus on the policies his administration can pass through Congress.
