Court denies Family Dollar shareholder move to block Dollar Tree deal vote

A motion by shareholders of Family Dollar Stores to block Tuesday’s vote by the company’s buyout by Dollar Tree, a move intended to push the company to further consider a higher bid from Dollar General, was denied by a Delaware court.
