Verizon, Vodafone close in on wireless sale

Verizon Communications and Vodafone Group PLC have reportedly worked out terms of a deal to allow the U.S. carrier to buy out its U.K.-based partner for $130 billion, giving the American company sole control over Verizon Wireless.
