Use for this system are varied including liquids and solids. Solids can be solidified solder fines, scraped off solder mask or coatings. Liquids such as unreacted flux, flux cleaners, solvents and other liquids can be sucked off the surface of the board. This eliminates the problem of “pushing around” the dirt on a PCB instead getting it off the board.
Each PCBVac™ system (http://www.solder.net/products/pcbvac/overview/) consists of a controller with ON/OFF and vacuum adjustment, a quick disconnect plug and flex input tubing and filtration, a handheld vacuum applicator inclusive of 6 ft of flex hose and (5) tips which can be configured by the user.
