Interestingly, social media has also had an impact on the way people budget their time in some ways; for example, while the infographic shows that most folks still spend around the same amount of time taking care of their family members now, as opposed to the days before social media became so popular, watching TV offline has dropped from over 71 hours a month to almost 60. On the other hand, watching shows online has rapidly increased recently, from an average of 6 hours to just over 23.
