Firing Marissa Mayer is not the answer for Yahoo

Yahoo is at a crossroads. The turnaround plan by Marissa Mayer is not working. But is firing Mayer the best solution? Perhaps it is finally time for Yahoo to seriously consider selling itself. But selling just its core business alone, minus its Asian assets, as one activist investor suggests, may be harder to do than selling the entire company.
