Apple TV could pressure Amazon, Google offerings

When Apple Inc. lifted the wraps off its redesigned Apple TV device on Wednesday, the company clearly signaled its intention to grow that business from its current "hobby" level into a viable alternative to mainstream cable TV and satellite services.
