U.S. hinders AOL sale to Russian firm

Conditions expected to be applied by the U.S. federal government to AOL Inc.’s sale of the ICQ instant-messaging service to a Russian firm helped mar the New York-based company’s fourth-quarter results, which were posted Wednesday.
