Guests to Sample Over 100 Wine Varieties at Riverbanks Botanical Garden
PRLog - April 23, 2015 - COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Wine enthusiasts are getting excited about this year’s annual Wine Tasting at the Riverbanks Botanical Garden, which is presented by Jaguar Columbia. This event has sold out once again to guests who will gather at the garden on April 24 from 7 pm until 9:30 pm. Hosted by the Riverbanks Society, this event offers guests the opportunity to sample over 100 varieties of wine, an assortment of micro-brews for hops enthusiasts, and take pictures with stunning Jaguar vehicles.
The Riverbanks Zoo and Gardens will benefit from the Wine Tasting, which uses the proceeds to benefit the wildlife conservation and education efforts that take place at the location. In addition to beverages, guests will enjoy the offerings of several local restaurants and caterers who are whipping up plenty of savory appetizers. These partners include Hudson’s Classic Catering, Liberty Tap Room and Grill, Melting Pot, Miyo’s, Pearls Oyster Bar, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, and the Riverbanks Zoo and Gardens Events and Hospitality catering division.
For entertainment, guests will be treated to live music from Jamie Beresford Jazz, and the event will take place rain or shine. To enjoy food, fun, and spirits on time, be sure to park on the Botanical Garden side at 1300 Botanical Parkway in West Columbia. Riverbanks will pay the first $10 of cab fares to hotels and residences in Richland and Lexington counties to help ensure the safety of all guests, and of course the event is limited to guests over the age of 21.
