Zappos, under Amazon, keeps its independent streak

CEO Tony Hsieh intends to keep running things his way after selling the business to Amazon, in a deal valued at $1.2 billion at closing in November. In fact, Amazon’s Jeff Bezos has yet to visit Zappos’ offices.
