Existing Home Sales Rise 5.6% in November

Sales of existing homes rose 5.6% in November to a better-than-expected SAAR of 4.68 million units from 4.43 million in October, the National Association of Realtors said Wednesday. Even with the gains, sales were about 10% below the 5.2 million sales pace that many analysts consider a healthy pace for the housing market.
