Turkey nervously monitors instability in Syria

The sudden instability in Syria is closely watched in Turkey, which under Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan has turned eastward, making ties to Damascus, Moscow and Tehran central to its diplomatic and economic strategy, analysts say.
