Ivanhoe Mines Announces Rights Offering

Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. (NYSE: IVN) announced a $1.8 billion rights offering to common shareholders with a standby commitment from majority stakeholder Rio Tinto. The stock price climbed $1.88 to close at $13.64.
