AstraZeneca To Acquire Ardea Biosciences

Ardea Biosciences Inc. (Nasdaq: RDEA) will be acquired by AstraZeneca (NYSE: AZN) in a deal valued at approximately $1.26 billion. Shares of Ardea leaped $10.74 to $31.58 while AstraZeneca stock slipped 74 cents to $45.48.
