WHY: Historically neighborhood barbershops have been thought of as the social gathering place for men to discuss issues of importance; from family life to politics; sports to current events, and everything in between. Building on that concept, President Obama’s Fatherhood Initiative will launch the 2012 Fatherhood Buzz Barbershop Tour. The eight city tour will connect fathers with local barbershops that will disseminate information about responsible fatherhood and parenting. BBRAXTON Exceptional Grooming. For Exceptional Men., an upscale grooming parlor, in New York has been designated as a partner in this inaugural initiative. BBRAXTON will kick off the Fatherhood Buzz Barbershop Tour on Saturday, June 16th and invites gentlemen to stop in to learn about the resources available through the program and to share their ideas about fatherhood with other fathers. Brenda Braxton, who is the proprietor of BBRAXTON, will be available to discuss the program and will show how BBRAXTON supports and encourages fathers.
