Mobile Connect Conference Begins June 18 in Boston
San Francisco, CA – June 14, 2012 – Maribel Lopez, principal analyst, Lopez Research, says the term “mobile” will go away in the next five years. As the biggest technology wave since the Internet, Lopez claims what we distinguish as mobile today will be so ubiquitous that we won’t even define it separately, which is why it is critical to begin planning efforts now for next decade. “Ride the wave or crash on the rocks,” says Lopez, inviting business and IT professionals engaged in communications planning to attend next week’s Mobile Connect conference, beginning Monday in Boston.
According to Lopez, “I’m excited. This is an industry that has been in a state of exploration for years, but this is the first year that companies are really doing something with enterprise mobility. People are already beginning to run into serious challenges but are also discovering incredible opportunities now that mobile device technology is maturing.
