Stocks jumped out of the starting gate Tuesday, as investors bet on a fresh round of stimulus from the Federal Reserve. The Nasdaq leapt 1%, the S&P 500 0.8% and the Dow Jones industrial average 0.6% in early trade. Volume rose 21% on the Nasdaq and was up 4% on the NYSE compared with the same time Monday.
