Walgreens, Allied Boots strike deal

DEERFIELD, Ill., June 19 (UPI) -- U.S. pharmacy chain Walgreens said Tuesday it would buy 45 percent of Alliance Boots, the largest pharmacy chain in Europe, for $6.7 billion.
