Falling gold prices weighed down shares of Buenaventura (NYSE: BVN) $1.37 to close at $27.09, McEwen Mining Inc. (NYSE: MUX) $0.16 to close at $2.98 and Yamana Gold Inc. (NYSE: AUY) $0.80 to close at $15.73.
