European Factors to Watch -Shares to edge up, eyes on Bernanke

LONDON, July 17 (Reuters) - European stocks are seen opening flat to higher on Wednesday, with investors hoping for improved earnings reports to set a positive tone in early deals in what could be cautious trade ahead of the top U.S. central banker's testimony to Congress. Financial spreadbetters expect Britain's FTSE 100 to open 2 to 4 points higher, or as much as 0.1 percent, Germany's DAX to open 4 to 5 points higher, or as much as 0.1 percent, and France's CAC 40 to open 1 point high
