In the broad market, declining issues outpaced advancers by a margin of nearly 10 to 9 on the NYSE and by more than 5 to 3 on Nasdaq. The broader S&P 500 slipped 2 points to 1850. Bitcoin dropped $53.50 or 9.16%% to $530.50.
