Sony posts fiscal Q1 net profit of 26.8 billion yen

Sony posted a net profit of 26.8 billion yen for the three months ending June 30, the firm said on Thursday, up from 3.1 billion yen profit reported in the previous quarter and compared to a Reuters forecast for a loss of 50 billion yen.
