Applications for the 2014 South Walton Fashion Week Emerging Designer Competition are now being accepted!
PRLog - Sep. 2, 2014 - DESTIN, Fla. -- South Walton Fashion Week is a large-scale, high-fashion, six-day event. This event will begin on Monday, October 6th, and run through Sunday, October 12th. Regional rising designers and models, chic local boutiques and designers, runway shows, and VIP parties will be presented by Visit South Walton. Grand Boulevard will host the 2014 South Walton Fashion Week (SWFW) at the Town Center also known as Grand Park.
A celebration of the world of fashion will take place in upscale boutiques and venues throughout South Walton and 30A. These events allow emerging designers to showcase their designs. Applications are being accepted now for all emerging designers who would like to compete for a cash prize, a custom photo shoot with rights to all images, a spread in the fashion issue of Fashion and Style magazine, VIE, and an exclusive runway show in 2015 South Walton Fashion Week.
Applications are now being accepted for area models looking to be discovered by local and regional scouts, storeowners, and photographers. One winning model will be selected by a panel of SWFW judges to become the face of 2014’s South Walton Fashion Week as well as other career boosting incentives.
South Walton Fashion Week will attract 1,500 affluent fashionistas. Flourishing area boutiques throughout South Walton and 30A will promote a special week in fashion. 30A rentals are available in the vicinity for overnight accommodations during the event.
This week of events is produced by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County. This agency develops creative events making Walton County a destination for artistic and cultural excellence. Garrett Realty Services Inc. promotes these events to enrich the area and strengthen the community.
