Innovative Go Outdoor Technologies or iGo-TECHNOLOGIES of Sun City, AZ, has finalized the long anticipated release of their iGo-AIR product, which uses engine exhaust to fill ATV/UTV tires with air. The company prototyped the iGo-AIR and sold about 10,000 to dealers across the Pacific Northwest and is now positioned for mass production and distribution across the United States.
The iGo-AIR product, developed by the iGo engineering team of aerospace engineers was first invented and patented by Rob Smelcer, the company’s founder. The release of the product comes as rumors that the Forestry Department is preparing a ban on the use of disposable Co2 cartridges for use in refilling tires with air. The cartridges cannot be reused and thus have become a pollutant to the environment as riders leave them behind. Other popular devices used to inflate ATV or UTV tires include battery operated pumps, which typically break due to the rigorous conditions where they’re stored as well as they have many moving parts.
