Sallie Mae Declares Series A Dividend

Sallie Mae (NASDAQ: SLM), the nation’s saving, planning and paying for college company, announced a 2015 first-quarter dividend on its Preferred Stock Series A of $0.87125 per share. The dividend will be paid on February 2, 2015 to stockholders of record at the close of business on January 23, 2015.

On October 31, 2014, Sallie Mae had approximately 3.3 million shares of Preferred Stock Series A, and 4 million shares of Preferred Stock Series B outstanding.
