Engility Ranked 12th in Victory Media’s 2015 Top Military Friendly Employers List

Engility Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:EGL), today announced it was ranked 12th in the 2015 Military Friendly® Employers List by Victory Media, publisher of G.I. Jobs® and Military Spouse.

Engility competed against 5,000 companies, each with annual revenues in excess of $500 million, by completing a data-driven survey. Benchmark scores pertaining to key programs and policies, such as the strength of Engility’s military recruiting efforts, percentage of new hires with prior military service, retention programs for veterans, and company policies on National Guard and Reserve service were verified by a third party, Ernst & Young LLP, and then measured against each of the competitors.

“This prestigious award recognizes the fact that Engility values the tremendous asset of our Nation’s veterans. Engility maintains an enduring commitment to supporting our military community and to hiring veterans,” said Tony Smeraglinolo, President and CEO of Engility Holdings. “Our customers demand excellence which is delivered by all of our employees, and we are proud that 36% - over 1,700 - of our employees are veterans whose unrelenting focus, drive and discipline yield mission success for each of our valued customers. Our military veteran employee population brings a level of commitment, tenacity and leadership that enhances our entire Engility workforce.”

Now in its 12th year, Military Friendly® Employers is the premier resource for transitioning service members and spouses seeking civilian employment. Each year, according to Victory Media, companies taking the survey are held to a higher standard than the previous year via improved methodology, criteria and weightings developed with the assistance of an Advisory Board consisting of leaders in the military recruitment community. A full list of board members can be found at MilitaryFriendly.com/board.

“2015 Military Friendly® Employers represent the preeminent tier of companies with strong military recruitment programs and meaningful job opportunities for transitioning service members and spouses,” said Sean Collins, Vice President for Victory Media and a nine-year Navy veteran.
