Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy Ltd recently presented a $10,000 donation to the Dauphin and District Community Foundation. The funds will be used to start the “Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy Scholarship Fund” to help students cover the cost of education to prepare for a health-related field.
Sara Watson, on behalf of Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy, presented the donation to Kathy Freiheit, the President of the Dauphin and District Community Foundation. Interest earned on the new “Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy Scholarship Fund” will be given out as a scholarship each year to a student who plans to enroll in the post-secondary level in any health related field.
Scholarship candidates must demonstrate strong community involvement and volunteerism, two qualities exemplified by Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy Ltd and pharmacist Myles Haverluck. Potential scholarship recipients must also participate in extra-curricular activities. Well-rounded candidates will show interest in a health-related field and improving their community.
