Amkor Technology Announces Senior Management Change

Amkor Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMKR) today announced that Dr. Choon Heung Lee has been appointed Executive Vice President for Worldwide Manufacturing Operations and President of Amkor Technology Korea, reporting to Steve Kelley, Amkor’s President and CEO. Dr. Lee succeeds JooHo Kim who is retiring at the end of this month after a long and distinguished career with the company.

“Choon is a seasoned senior executive with almost 20 years of service in significant leadership positions with us and we are confident in Choon’s ability to drive success for Amkor,” said Kelley.

Choon Heung Lee, 56, joined Amkor in 1996. In 2004, he was promoted to Head of R&D, and in 2010, he became Amkor’s Head of Corporate Technology. In 2013, Mr. Lee became Amkor’s Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer and he will remain in this position.
